WOLCOTT WOODS

Milton, MA

The vision for Wolcott Woods draws upon the great estates era that characterizes this part of Milton, Massachusetts.  The site plan incorporates three historic homes with their garden elements, stonework, and estate scaled trees. Sixty percent of the 47-acre site was committed as deeded open space to preserve and maintain the fields and woodland that were shaped over time by the families that lived here.  New plantings and homes sites were chosen and situated to be in keeping with these time-tested elements.

The 54 homes are clustered uphill of the entry and are approached via a winding, treelined drive that provides glimpses of what is to come.  And while the community includes its own generously allotted open space with its own network of paths and trails, it also boasts its own trailhead into the abutting 7,000-acre Blue Hills Reservation with its 125 miles of trails, making this a truly spectacular property and place to call home.
